Description
Some time ago one of our subscribers in social networks asked us to create a lesson about drugs. This topic is complicated and fairly provocative, however we are finally ready to offer it to you in a debating and edgy perspective. Everybody knows about the damage of drugs and the addiction problem, but what can drugophobia in society and government politics possibly lead to? Fear, absence of the required medical aid and social exclusion – that is what drug addicts face on a daily basis. However the consequences of war with drugs affect even ordinary people, for instance, there are quite stiff restrictions for some medical products required for seriously ill people. How does social psychology determine reasons for the addiction? How can closed ones help the drug abusers? What is the difference between decriminalization and legalization of drugs and how did it turn out for Portugal and Netherlands? We don’t provide pat answers to these questions, which are meant to be discussed, but some facts, and the opinion is to be formed by yourself including comparison of different perspectives of this problem.
