Which associations come to your mind when you hear the word “Siberia”? Thick forests, full-flowing rivers, Baikal lake, legends of ancient people… In our new lesson we would like to invite you on a virtual journey across Siberia along with three German tourists and get to know more about Russian national character, survival rules for foreigners in the Asian part of Russia as well as how can one save money during the trip and even become a star in local mass media! Moreover, in this lesson you will watch an episode from the video encyclopedia “We live in Russia”, which is dedicated to Siberia and specifically to the Evenkis – the are considered to be forefathers of North-American Indians. Not only will you get to know the Evenki folklore but you will also broaden your vocabulary with a group of reflexive verbs, the use of which is trained in one of the exercises.
