Some people go to parties on Friday nights, while others stay at home with tea and a TV series. In this lesson, you will get to know the characteristics of homebodies and partygoers, and find out which type you and your friend belong to. You will also learn relevant vocabulary through the song “We’re Staying Home Today” by the band Khadn Dadn. You will encounter new words in a lively musical context, practice them in exercises, and discuss topics that will likely feel relatable: what you do when you’re home alone, how long you can go without going outside, and what you would change about your living space. At the end, you’ll take part in a role-play: partygoer versus homebody — who will convince the other?
